I was going to write a blog about the lessons learned from the failure at Rotorua and my plans for the new year. I was also going to write about my ride this morning and the time trialling up that damn Reid Rd (loads of new data) but all that pails into insignificance compared to the news that I have to bring.
This morning we had our first harvest of chillies. I am a massive curry fan and have recently got back into making my own. Tonight I will make a curry using fresh chillies from the garden. Can't wait.
It's obviously not going to be a very hot curry with only 3 chillies but it's a start.
